South Brookline

South Brookline is one of the most suburban neighborhoods of Brookline, with winding roadways passing charming homes tucked deep into wooded lots. The neighborhood offers mostly single-family homes, some on expansive lots, others built side-by-side along the main roads. Brookline’s only working farm, a monastery, convent, two golf courses and numerous parks give the neighborhood a somewhat rural feel. Many schools in this neighborhood feed into Edith C. Baker School.
